Contrada Genovese, in the countryside of Ceglie Messapica: olive and almond trees and dry-stone walls all around. The trullo has been fully restored, keeping the stone cones where they were, and around it sit an independent dependance, a shaded veranda, a garden and a pool. Here the heat sets the pace of the day: an early breakfast, lunch under the veranda, water in the afternoon.
