Our story
Civis Romanus sum
“I am a Roman citizen”: in the ancient world, these words declared citizenship of Rome. Being a civis meant belonging to a city, not just living in it. The collection takes its name from there, and so does the way we welcome guests: as citizens, for the whole stay.
One address at a time
First the Lilium, on Via Venti Settembre by Porta Pia; then the Imperial on Piazza Fiume, 350 m away; then Trullux and Il Mulino in Ceglie Messapica, in the Valle d'Itria.

The address sets the format, the materials and the pace: late-19th-century stucco and stained glass at the Lilium, trullo stone at Trullux.

The photos show the properties as they are. Trullux is in the countryside and you need a car: its page says so.
